History

Quincy Warrington was born on a bright, sunny winter day. His parents were firmly Anti-Trust, as had been their parents. The generations were smart enough to keep their beliefs under wraps, however. So they were never prosecuted. Quincy was the third child and only son of the Warringtons, Quincy’s father was in a close-knit group of men that rode motorcycles, and all the children grew up together.

Because of the secretive atmosphere of his home, and the things he saw and heard, and was ordered to keep secret; Quincy quickly grew to be a very paranoid child. He was convinced that the Trust was going to come after him if he uttered the wrong word to the wrong person. He quickly learned how to hide his feelings and thoughts and deceive where needed to make it through any sort of questioning.

School wasn’t difficult for him, but he didn’t really excel more than expected either. He was average, and he worked hard to stay average. Average didn’t attract notice. His aptitude test placed him in the industrial field, and he trained as a millwright. Quincy found that he liked the work, putting in machinery at industrial plants and learning how to maintain that machinery. It also afforded him an opportunity to find construction sites and warehouses that his father and the group could meet in.

The sponsorship period was a pretty heady experience for the young man, and he sampled the variety of experiences that were offered, never settling on any one thing. One thing that came out of this period, he developed a bleeding heart. He couldn’t stand to hear the stories of mothers ripped out of their children’s lives, and forced to do things that they weren’t happy doing. It instilled a deep need to right that wrong wherever possible, and help out these ladies when he can.

The other good thing that happened around this time, he got his first official motorcycle, and was brought into his father’s club along with the other men he’d grown up with. It was exciting and Quincy was glad to have his friends with him on this new adventure.

Right before his 23rd birthday, the group was moved to Ashpoint. Quincy isn’t exactly sure why Caliban arranged it that way, but he didn’t mind. A new town meant new prospects, and he was looking forward to the adventure of it all.

Then, everything started to go wrong. He was drafted to a fresh faced 18 year old named Vee, and he had to bottle up and hide all of his activities. The two of them did not get on well, and it took them a good year to have a relatively decent relationship. As the secrets began to slowly be revealed, Quincy found that Vee was more like him than he’d thought, and that opened more doors.

At 25, he got his first tattoo. A right of passage for himself, and for the club that had given him so much. Others followed, and he spent a brief stint in corrections when found out. Since he’s already been punished for them, he no longer hides them as he did before, and carries around a note of pardon in his back pocket to show to any police that might try to bring him in for the offense.

Then, the elder generation of the club was decimated. A run to Canada gone wrong. Quincy didn’t really give Vee much of a choice as he opted to take in the children left behind. Work had kept him out of that run. He both cursed and praised the fates for that fact. How he ended up with the gavel is still a bit of mystery to him, given that he was mired in grief over losing not only his father, but friends he’d known his entire life.

He took over the club and perfected Caliban’s plan, keeping their less savory activities well below radar, and finding an old warehouse to house meetings in. He and Vee began to have their own family, as well as watching over the orphans that came and went through their home.

The ‘Incident’ haunts him. To many members were lost, and he’s not sure that the club can recover without drastic action. Luckily, their suppliers were mostly outside of Ashpoint and not affected by the ‘Incident’, so they can pick up where they left off, just as soon as they have really established themselves in this new town of Tidewater.

Quincy is determined to get the club back on track and moving forward. If he could only get his womanizing second in command to take things more seriously, they’d be set.
