AppearanceOwen is six foot one inches. His hair is usually kept short, and he’s never been entirely sure what to call his hair color. Somewhere between strawberry and dirty blonde. He tends to wear black, feeling it's a somber color for a somber job. He dresses mostly in dress slacks and button ups when he’s at the worship center, but likes jeans and t-shirts with a flannel around the house or out and about. He always has a watch on, liking to keep track of his time, particularly to make sure his sermons don’t run long.

Owen Page was once one of a set of triplets. However, having had one older brother before, his parents were not allowed to keep all of them, and he ended up in the orphanage. His parents could not make a choice between them, and they did not choose which of their sons to give up, the Trust picked him at random. He was quickly adopted and named Owen by his new adoptive parents. Stephen and Maria Page had previously had two daughters, and were desprate for a son so, rather than risk conciving another daughter, they chose to adopt their third child. Owen was welcomed by his two older sisters as they were quite excited to have a younger brother. He grew up aware that he was adopted, but never feeling particularly bad about it.
He was a social young man, always very good with people. Compassionate without being soft, fair in his decisions. His peers looked to him as a mediator, a role he was happy to fill. The thing they did not do growing up was attend church on a regular basis. So he was not raised particularly religious. When he took his exit exam and was sent to study religion in the path of being a minister, he was a little shocked. But he found, even if he wasn't entirely set in faith, he did like the job that a religious leader had in the community. He liked the purpose that the church served in the community.
When he was in college, he met his biological brothers. It was hard not to know they were his brothers. They were nearly identical. He did not connect with his family outside of knowing they existed. It was a weird feeling to know that he was part of a group of three that he was not allowed to be with, but it was also good to know that he was one of triplets so that he was not shocked when his second wife had multiples.
His first wife was a tall woman, with dark hair and wild eyes. Veronica “Ronnie” Crump. She was not really willing to settle with one man, particularly a man with a forced religious influence, having not been raised religiously either. She was not the ideal minister’s wife. She did as she pleased, and Owen found himself too concerned with keeping her happy to prevent her from getting herself into trouble. They had no children. They never adopted either. They had been married ten years when his wife went too far and was found with another man. Owen would have been willing to forgive her, but the Trust was not.
At thirty five he married his second wife, Celia Smyth. They had been married six years years before they had children. Not for lack of trying. Celia worried she was unable to get pregnant. Owen just insisted it must not be the right time. And it wasn’t. Apparently. When Celia did finally get pregnant, they had their three all at once. Cloe, Cleo, and Cole Page were born in 2186. And the family was quite happy for four years. While his first marriage had been something of a disaster, despite its longevity, his second was the picture of a Trust approved marriage.
Then a little over a year ago, his wife fell ill and never recovered. The children were devastated, and Owen was devastated.
What little faith in the church Owen had waned with the passing of his wife. But his children need a new mother, and so he’s waiting on his third, and hopefully final draft. The chips are not his favorite concept, but he likes the idea of giving those to his daughters more than the bracelet. It feels less like a shackle. While his faith in the church is questionable, his faith in the Trust is not.
